OUR WORK

See the work behind the promise.

We are new enough to show the work as it happens. Projects marked In Development, In Production, In Review or Coming Soon have not been presented as published. What follows is the evidence we can show you today, and the evidence we will be able to show you once an author clears it.

PROCESS PROOF

The obligations we take on, and where they are recorded.

Every line below is a statement about what we owe you, not a claim about a result. Each one names the record that holds it.

Five two-day movements

In Production

The first ten days run as five paired movements, each closing on something you can read and approve rather than a status update.

  • Days 1–2 — the shape of the book: premise, reader, promise, structure.
  • Days 3–4 — the architecture: parts, chapters, what each one has to do.
  • Days 5–6 — the voice: sample prose you accept or send back.
  • Days 7–8 — the evidence: sources, claims and what still needs checking.
  • Days 9–10 — the plan: production schedule, formats, approval points.

Approval gates you have to pass through

In Production

Work does not move to the next stage on somebody's enthusiasm. Each stage has a gate, and the gate records who decided and when.

  • A gate can be held open, sent back with changes, or closed.
  • A held gate names what is missing rather than stalling silently.
  • Nothing skips a gate because a schedule is tight.

Canon and version control

In Production

Every fact your book relies on lives in one place, and every version of the manuscript is kept. A change to what is true is a decision, not an edit somebody made on a Tuesday.

  • Characters, places, timelines and rules are recorded once and reused.
  • A contradiction is raised as a finding, not quietly smoothed over.
  • You can see what changed between two versions, and why.

Evidence and rights review

In Production

Claims are traced to sources before they reach your manuscript, and anything quoted or adapted is checked for the right to use it.

  • A claim with no source is flagged rather than left to the reader.
  • Quotations, lyrics and images are reviewed before layout, not after.
  • Where a right cannot be cleared, we say so and offer an alternative.

Human approval authority

In Production

You hold the decisions that matter. No engine, worker or automation can approve your book on your behalf, and producing something is never the same as clearing it to go out.

  • Creative decisions are yours; we recommend and evidence them.
  • Generation is not release — those are two separate gates.
  • An unapproved asset stays unapproved, however finished it looks.

Production and format validation

In Production

Before anything is presented as ready, the interior, cover and digital formats are checked against the requirements of the format itself.

  • Print interiors are paginated and read as pages, not as a document.
  • Covers are checked against real trim, spine and bleed measurements.
  • Digital formats are validated rather than exported and hoped for.

ARTIFACT PROOF

What you will be able to inspect.

Real excerpts from real books, shown only with the author’s explicit clearance and with prose, sources and identifying detail withheld.

Nothing cleared for public display yet

No author has cleared an excerpt for public display yet.

We will not anonymize our way around a permission we have not been given. When an author clears an architecture excerpt, an evidence matrix, a continuity finding, a cover system, a print interior or a redacted approval receipt, it appears here with its record named.

Read the process proof instead
  • An approved architecture excerpt
  • An anonymized evidence matrix
  • Continuity findings, as raised
  • A cover system preview
  • A print-interior preview
  • A production-validation summary
  • An approval receipt, redacted
PORTFOLIO PROOF

Books we are allowed to name.

Real projects, real covers, real dates, and the state each one is actually in. A book appears here only when its author has approved it for public display.

Nothing cleared for public display yet

No published title is included in this proof collection yet.

The creative showcase has its own display approvals. This proof collection separately requires publication clearance and inclusion in the portfolio selection.

CASE-STUDY PROOF

The five questions a case study has to answer.

What the human decided
The choices the author made — premise, structure, voice, what the book refuses to be.
What BookKraft workers produced
The drafts, research, layouts and cover work produced against those decisions.
What engines validated
The continuity, evidence, format and quality checks that ran, and what they caught.
What the author approved
The gates the author closed, dated, and what closing each one authorised.
What remains unapproved or unreleased
The parts still open — stated plainly, because a case study that omits them is an advertisement.
Nothing cleared for public display yet

No case study is cleared yet.

A case study names a specific book and a specific person's decisions, which makes it the most sensitive thing on this page. It waits for that author's word — not for our convenience.
